Join the Public Interest Law Foundation for a professional development career panel on The Changing Face of Public Interest Law: Collabroative Lawyering. We will hear from a number of leading practitioners on the greater need for collaboration amongst public interest lawyers, governmental agencies, social worker providers, non-legal advocates, the private bar, and others involved in providing legal assistance to the legally underserved.
Professor Kurt Kumli, an adjunct professor at USF and a supervising judge at Santa Clara Superior Court will moderate a panel made up of the following speakers:
- Samuel Kang, Managing Attorney at the Greenlining Institute
- Ayako Miyashata, a Staff Attorney and Director of the Consumer Advocacy Project at the AIDS Legal Referral Panel
- Catherine Ross-Perry, a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Government Agency for Housing and Urban Development
- Jamienne S. Studley, President and CEO of Public Advocates
